Damn, bummer about the Catskill workshop. I signed up in the spring and was really looking forward to it. Been a fan of your work for a long time! Then, summer life and home renovation stuff happened this summer so I couldn't swing it. Anyway, love the newsletter, love the youtube channel. It's really refreshing to see a photographer doing exactly what they want to do, and only what they want to do on YouTube rather than another camera review of whatever the fuck.

Thanks for trying. Maybe I need to just make it a day long thing...?

Excuse me, now I have to delete all of these camera review videos I made last week.

Would 10/10 attend a day long thing.

Don't delete them yet, check with future Noah first. He might know something about your camera review video success that we couldn't predict.

It has a week free trial. I bought it after four days. I highly recommend downloading and testing it on a few big folders. I think you might like it!

You'll be amazed. I have found photographs in my catalog that I didn't even know existed.

I returned to Northern England, the land of my paternal ancestors. We (my wife and I) got bumped from economy to business class which was an auspicious start, being it was great fun sitting with the mucky mucks in the nose cone of the jumbo. I had woken early the morning of our overnight flight, so it was well over 24 hours by the time we got to Amsterdam and caught our connecting flight to Newcastle in a sardine can they call a commuter that was so noisy it practically blew out our eardrums. The rental car we had arranged conveniently wasn't there, so we agreed to a brand new manual shift. It had 5 miles on the clock. No pressure there. I've always drived manual so thought it would be okay. I was wrong. I never made it out of third. I practiced the fine art of shifting with my left hand for a few laps of the parking lot before laser stares from airport security and my own misplaced courage through half dead eyes directed me forward and lead me to head out for a day of driving on the wrong side of the road which started with me taking a wrong turn and circling the burbs of Newcastle during morning rush hour. We parked Octavious (honestly, that was the model name of the Peugeot) at Corbridge Roman Town where I got out an kissed the ground. Somehow, I had managed to keep us both alive. Pushing our luck, I then drove another 8 plus hours through the Pennines, known as the backbone of Britain, clipping a parked car in Alton where I discovered just how accurate one needed to be to keep up with fast paced local traffic. The locals standing at the pub, beers in hand, crossed the road upon hearing the bang, and declared, "You're alright mate, they just kissed each other. We've all done that." I collapsed into bed that night after getting lost in old Durham Town trying to find our B&B. Ten subsequent days of overplanned adventure passed quickly before arriving back in Toronto in the land of superhighways. It was the trip of a lifetime, but I missed our cats horribly.

NO ONE SIGNED UP!? I am personally offended by that news as someone who would love to do it if I lived closer. A day / weekend long option would be cooooool. 👀

not a single person!

maybe it can be an online class?

I like this idea as an alternative! It feels like we live our entire life online these days, so I see the benefit of an in-person workshop. I considered signing up and tried to convince the family to take a long weekend trip to the Catskills. Unfortunately we just couldn't swing it.

I appreciate staying home too. I’ve traveled all over the world, including Antarctica, but I spent a lot more time and money making my home comfortable for me. Why would I want to leave?

Also I’d sign up for the class too, if it was closer…
