I live in Ontario close to Lake Erie and our local quarries and beaches are filled with Devonian fossils. Our area would have been sort of that same shallow tropical sea. We see loads of fossil corals, brachiopods, the occasional gastropod, and even more rarely trilobites. But now I’m going to start looking for possible root patterning now when we walk our local quarry.
