Personally, I love how you continue to evolve and create. I have struggled with this over the years: did I paint myself into a corner? But I think stretching the limits of how we do what we do is part of the process. I have enjoyed your YouTube videos and love seeing your updates in my feed. And it's great to see you writing again. Keep going, Noah. We appreciate you!
When I subscribed to your newsletter a few days ago, I had no idea you did the photo of yourself project. I was impressed when I saw your first video way back (guessing pre-2010s, but dunno exactly when) and I'm still impressed today. Kudos!
I'm glad you're doing something new and won't be deterred by negative comments. It won't be for everyone, and some peeps like to tell you where they think you've messed up and how to do it better.
No matter. I wish you every happiness and success with all the directions you choose to take.
What I love about the YouTube channel is how it makes you question all the ephemeral stuff we do on social media. I saw someone write about this on Threads yesterday. These Reels and Stories that we think we need to churn out won't have any longevity, but a video on YouTube will. People will go back and watch the oldies, or find them via search, and there's an income source there as a result (which presumably will grow over time). Instagram can't offer that (yet), only perhaps X will share any revenue with you. So I think it's a really savvy move at a time when it feels like the landscape is shifting, and it helps that your content (the forbidden word) feels somewhat unique in the YouTube/photography realm.
The Noah Kalina YouTube Program has become my favorite post-dinner, pre-doomscrolling daily routine. One thing I’m always pleased to see is video from the woods.

Thank you, Andy. I appreciate that!

Thank you, Martin.

Everything is connected. It’s all one big circle. Well technically not a circle circle, but a circle nonetheless. We appreciate you Noah.

Thank you, Michael. I really appreciate that.
The NKCU is my favorite current CU.
